Ok this is weird because I know these new cards can handle multiple monitors and are supposed to be great for it. I had no issues doing this with my hd radeon 4850 1gb. My main display is a 23" connected via dvi to hdmi cable, my tv is a 42" connected via hdmi, and my secondary monitor is...
So I recently decided to buy a quad core and with the set up I have now I can play crysis, COD4 and all those games max settings, will I see anymore performance increase with the q8400? Also I ordered an aftermarket cooler for it as well which claims to keep the processor at about 35c under...
I was just wondering, if i get an upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit windows vista home premium will i have to reinstall all of my programs or will they auto-update with windows?
I know the windows programs will work but i mean more so my games then anything.
So I finally decided on what to do as far as a new build and was looking for a little feedback. Just for the record the cpu im going to list is not the one i intend to keep but do to my budget im waiting to buy a quad core.
Nvidia Geforce 9600gt 512mb
intel dual core e2220
4gb (2x2gb)...
But my other question is where my north and south bridge chips are not intel chips (there something like pt880pro or something that asrock makes) am i going to have to reinstall windows or is there a way i can just get the drivers for the intel chips?
Thats what i figured about the cpu. The memory I'm getting is http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820104073 which i know will make a huge improvement because right now i'm running ddr2 667mhz. I game with my pc and currently can play crysis on high settings. I just don't like having my...
I'm looking to get a new mobo and ram. Currently im running an intel e2220 dual core processor @2.4ghz. The mother board im looking at is http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813128359
Now my question is will my current processor work just fine with that mobo. I know its the same...
It seems to be working jsut fine now. Only issue I saw after checking in BIOS was instead of running the memory at 667 its at 533. I'll post any further issues but hopefully there wont be any:)
i read through the manual and found something in bios i didn't see before. when you set the memory type and speed it can either automatically do it or you can set what speed. it says (ddr266) 133mhz. now could that be the problem, would i have to run this memory at 133mhz to have it work because...
the memory was just some cheap stuff from new egg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820146526
Reviews were good so I figured it should be just fine. I also ran the sticks through a program called memtest and they checked out just fine. Also had windows run a diagnostic on the...
yes but i checked it and it says nothing about it. It briefly touches on how to push the memory into the mobo and says ddr and ddr2 will only fit in their kind of slots. its the worst manual i've ever seen... not informative at all.
