My home desktop began showing video artifacts & tearing this past week, even in BIOS. Booting to Safe Mode is impossible; the screen is entirely artifacts. It's probably the GTX 460 or the PSU, but troubleshooting a build from 2008 with legacy parts & slots probably isn't worth the...
I'm building a system for my home office and am looking for a chipset and/or mobo recommendation. The box will be used almost exclusively for database work, but I'm forced to use XP so 4gb of memory is all i can install. I won't be gaming or overclocking at all, and since my office is in the...
i might be interested if they let you pick the games that came with it, but i'm not gonna buy a bundle with games that i don't want or don't know anything about
i've had this card since march of 2005 and i would STRONGLY recommend against purchasing it. it's given me nothing but problems from day 1 (i was a major contributor to the ~100 pg thread about this card on AVS Forum) -- even in MCE -- and i've been so much happier with my relatively new Vbox...

- 17 inch UltraSharp? Wide Screen UXGA (1920x1200) Display with TrueLife?
- 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz
- ATI...
these are *hands down* the best headphones i've ever owned. they are noticeably better than my HD580s (and just as comfy!) and are worth the money for anyone with a discerning ear. that said, i highly recommend a headphone amp to accompany them.
great price too!
you should upgrade to the 100gb HDD instead of going with the +$125 for 1gb RAM option. you can buy a 1gb stick of the same RAM for $105 from the Dell store and sell the 2x256 that comes inside the laptop. if you choose the RAM option you only get 2x512.
besides, i'd much rather have the...
