    RC5-72

I should be showing some points in it after tonight's stats recalc. I enjoyed the run on Lifemapper here with TA, so will give rc5 a run for a while and see how that goes! :) As for taking YEARS........... LOL, who knows. Maybe they will get lucky. On the other hand maybe the points...

    RC5-72

I notice on the distributed.net stats pages that there is a team for TeAm Anandtech, and that there is daily output to it. Yet I don't see any references to it in on the forum. So is the rc5 effort an active pursuit thing? Are any of the people crunching it on the forum? After some of the...

Interested In Making A Crack Rack For Myself

I'd be interested in looking at it. Can you zip or tar it all together into a file that I could download?

Interested In Making A Crack Rack For Myself

This is all really interesting. At one point in time I was messing around with linux firewalls on floppies, then to burning them onto bootable cd's. Well the other night I had an unplanned power outtage about 1am, and even though I've got surprotectors on stuff, I lost a couple systems...

    Female members of TeAm AnandTech

I'd bet that there probably are some, but they are under names that aren't specifically female as they don't care for the hassles. ?? I know I've talked with some gals that have told me they wouldn't sign into anything as a female on the net as there's just too much stuff they have to...

    eOn

There has been much more water pass under the bridge wince the previous post on this thread. Eon is rocking along pretty good now. The latest clients are at http://eon.cm.utexas.edu/ where there are both windows and linux clients. I'm a linux freak so this is a good project for me. The...

    OT: Cell architecture

I missed the announcements regarding the cell at the big meeting. Does anyone have any more info on what new information on the cell was released?

If you like SOB then try Riesel Sieve

The uncrunched work units are in a file called workfile.txt. Anything that needs to be sent to the server is in tosend.txt, and the file z00000... is the current workunit. The only one I'd even worry about would be the workunit.txt file, which you can just copy over to the new beta...

If you like SOB then try Riesel Sieve

Yes, documentation would be a help! The "download" page has the standard client, not the beta. To get the beta go to: windows: http://download.rieselsieve.co...a-llrnet.win32-cli.zip linux: http://download.rieselsieve.com/beta-llrnet.linux.tgz For setup on windows, put the zip file...

If you like SOB then try Riesel Sieve

Well it was better before the 3.5 beta came out for llrnet. And sieving at present is still ripping through numbers, however we are reaching a point where other issues come into play and the previous benefits to sieving are beginning to wan due to software limitations. Meanwhile the llr...

If you like SOB then try Riesel Sieve

Send a PM to b2 on the rieselsieve site, and tell him what team you want to belong to, and he will see that you are placed in it. :) So are you sieving or running llrnet? I had b2 move me to the Anandtech team. I'm running hard on the llrnet now, have really slowed down on sieving...

I keep around 18 to 20 running usually. Two on windows, the rest are linux.

Yo SlangNRox, They just started an open beta on client v3.5 for llrnet. Really is a massive improvement in speed. If you are running llrnet, you need to get the beta downloaded and start using it. Both a win32 and a linux beta.

    Lifemapper Daily Stats 05-01-05

Thankyou for putting up the stats for this effort! Gotta say it was a gas running the TeAm up to #2. I enjoyed it and enjoyed making some new friends. Good luck to all of you, and I remain, The Brucifer :)
