Well just an update... I tried putting the 2500+ into another computer and the same thing happened. And this was a brand new computer I just put together that was running perfectly on the 1900+. So I guess newegg sent me a bad processor. :|

I'm installing XP on a newly built system. I had been getting tons of errors adn problems, so I copied the i386 file to my hard drive and installed that way. It took forever, but it finished copying all the files for XP and told me to restart to continue with setup. Well, it starts back up...

Ok, some weirdness to go over: I formatted the HD, created a new partitition, and copied the whole i386 file from the WinXP cd to my hard drive. Then I ran winnt from there, and it started setup....well it got to the screen where it says "Please wait while setup copies files to your hard disk"...
