I say try the new drivers. It worked for my "powermagic 8500" card. Even if you know how to do it, it didnt work with the "Supported" 3276 drivers. Or the 3286. In under "displays" tab only the first monitor was enabled. All the others showed a crossed over cable. And the "power signs" were...

I had the same problem. The new "Unofficial" drivers on ATI's driverpage solves it.

My card is still labled ATI =) They have just put "powermagic" stickers on top of them. And the PCB is ATI made. I'll try flashing it, if I dont post again in a couple of days, I have probably fried it, or atleast flashed it badly :P well well.... here goes...

Is the voltage lower on the OEM cards? I just picked up a "PowerMagic" Radeon 8500, Installed it using latest unleaked drivers. And Rage3D-tweak. Both GPU and Ram is running at 250Mhz, and when I press the "Default Settings" button under "Overclock" it freezes immediatly. Will it help...

In quake use "timedemo" to get an average FPS. in the console type "/timedemo 1" then run a demo and check the console for the avg. FPS. Some demos are harder on the hardware the others, if you run the standard "DEMO001" or "DEMO002" you would get a higher FPS then if you run any of the intense...

The 128Mb version will cost allmost exactly as much as the 64Mb version does right now, when it arrives here in Europe. The price for 64Mb cards will prob. drop then... You are probably right about the overclocking capabilities and the overkill with 128Mb cards. I just want to see some reviews...

For Kyro III information www.paraknowya.com is a good start. Nothing new right now though... There was some kind of confusion about PowerVR series 3 and Kyro III. From what I remember: PowerVR series 2 == Kyro (1) PowerVR series 3 == Kyro II If I remember wrong I will probably get corrected...
