    Thanks for the stats

Yeah, I believe I was doing one task per thread.

Something about these primegrid tasks that really crank up the heat. Hit 100c right away with a good air cooler on the 12700kf. Normally in the 60s on SiDock going 50%. FX8150 seems to be not having issues.

It is bad here in oklahoma city. Hotter than death valley last week. 113F in my backyard. Suppose to be cooling off with rain soon.

    Been a long time

Ended up getting some bad RAM so had to drop from that race early. Along with sending the 6650 back for a 6700. Got my old FX8150 hooked back up with a new cooling solution and upgraded the cooling solution for the 4770s going now as well. Going to hit up some projects I haven't farmed...

    PrimeGrid Challenges 2022

I don't believe it was using my preferences. I went and updated my preferences, and then added the tasks this morning. Might should have waited longer. Now it's down 1hr 20 minutes. With or without the e-cores. earlier it was overloaded on tasks. I just removed primegrid and added it back...

    PrimeGrid Challenges 2022

I'll look into disabling the e-cores. Only other thing I can think of is only using 1 8 pin CPU connector. It's all my new PSU had. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088SSX883/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    PrimeGrid Challenges 2022

Looking at 2 and 3 days to complete current tasks. Hopefully that is the norm for everyone and I don't got something odd going on. I tried some optimizations for the 12700kf. On a side note I dreamed about a secret weapon. Building a Cyrix rig to run! o_O

I'm also curious how well the "thread director" micro controller on the CPU and windows 11 scheduler will handle the workload. Compared to the 11th Gen CPUs it looked like a lot of gain. I read this before buying. https://www.anandtech.com/show/16959/intel-innovation-alder-lake-november-4th/3

    PrimeGrid Challenges 2022

I'll flip my rig over around 8:30 AM CST tomorrow morning. Good luck all

That would probably be the best bet. I was just going to order a new video card. But decided most of my stuff was going on 8-10 years old. Saw the Z690 stuff out, and Intel had latest refresh. Went with the 6650XT for 1080p gaming. Looked to perform better than the 3060 RTX and was only...

Think I may have jumped the gun. Cancelled the work units. Waiting for 13:00:00 UTC June 17 to roll around.

I have added my rig to the project. I had to abort some tasks. Looks like the challenge is for Sierpinski/Riesel Base 5 LLR (SR5) workunits. Does this look like the right one? I added them at 11:00AM CST.

Hope you all are well. I just finished building a new rig. Core I7 12700KF with a 6650XT along with a scythe Mugen 5 Rev.C CPU cooler. Will be throwing in some cycle burning this guy in. These new CPUs run quite a bit warmer than the old FX8350 and Core I7 4770. My last updates.
