Need advise to connect a P4 desktop (Win98) and a P3 laptop (WinXP) using the parallel cable. I have tried to enable the Direct Cable Connection for the Wn98 but I can't find this options at WinXP. I have surf through some links but not details enough. Please advise. Thank you!!!

I would like to learn is there any way to connect a P4 desktop (Win98) to a P3 Laptop (Win XP) using the parallel cable?. Is there a need to get some application running together in both machine? How about the settings. I been to some website stating that I need a Laplink 5 to run it. Please advise.
