Opteron's value is a big part of what makes them so attractive. The consumer x2 chips are great chips imo, and if they start reflecting a lower price in relationship to the opterons, their sales will def increase. That said, opertons are still one heck of a chip so my feelings are missed.

Sony LCD gets my vote. Size depends on how big the room is. If it's just for your desktop then I'd recommend no bigger than 32" but even that would seem to be too big for me.
