got my code in the mail on the 22nd.

removed the nvidia 2.00 ide driver, put on asus 1.16 and everything is great. now the mobo is kicking. cpu is at 35c at minimal load.

it is definitely my hard drive. i think it could be bad? maybe it is the nforce drivers? Perhaps a full reformat will have to do? im not sure of how to specifically remove those nforce drivers. I cant get the Hard Drive to post a score using sisoft sandra benchmark. it says it takes 1-10 mins...

i got an email from them in early december telling me i could still get on the deal as long as i provided my pay stub that was from a certain date in october to current as long as it was postmarked by dec 31st.. they said it would take 2-3 weeks to hear back on a code, then another 4-6? i think...

Well I got in on this deal, and I think i came out ahead. They sent me 2 copies of the game, so my friend is getting my extra copy. I heard a lot of people who pre-ordered got 2 copies as well. If this is how they do pre-orders, count me in on UT2k3.

I picked up the z-540's at compusa back in that 49.95 combo deal (z-540's + turtle beach soundcard). Anyway finally hooked them up today to the turtle beach soundcard and it's some good stuff =)

i dont mind the wait, i just wish they would give some type of timetable on deliveries. I guess we will have to wait till tuesday if they are closed for labor day.. I'm waiting for the VIA KT400 mainboards to come out so i can take advantage of the 8x AGP.

Seems like 349.99 is the going price for OEM. But it says newegg has them in stock which makes it kind of warm.. Compared to being out of stock if you went with the earlier Gamestop dead like i did. Linkage
