My Abit Nf7-s had a fit when I tried PC2100 RAM in it. I don't know if it even supports it. The thing just made a loud solid beeeeeeeep at me. The memory was pulled from my other working system. Got the PC3200 and it was sweet.

I have struggled with my Abit mobo for a while now.. I found that cmos error came up when it first turned on and after I cleared the cmos. "Fix" is very simple, just hit your delete key to go to setup and do something like change the time and date in the setup, reboot. SHould work then.
