Power consumption? My current CPU consumes exactly the same as any AMD. Haswell is going to save me, what, 20 dollars a year? AM3+ is severely outdated? In which aspects? USB 3.0? I don't own any devices that can take advantage of that. I doubt I ever will, at least in the near future.
