    1 Gigabit NICs: Any point?

    Actually, Win2k gets 800+mb/s on a gig NIC. NT 4 only scaled to somewhere in the 100-200mb/s, I think. It is one of, if not the, fastest platforms out there. Of course, you're often disk limited at this point...

    What chip is the overclocking king right now?

    PIII-700E, ABIT BX-133 RAID, 2x 128MB PC133 CAS3 SDRAM, Orb fan, 3 case fans total, Win2k SP1 running 1004mhz (7x144) now, haven't tried to go higher.
