Man this brings back so many memories ...... Even now when ever I hear someone talking about an online RPG or something close to it I always thing - I wonder if it is as good as UO was? Once EA bought it though and formed trammel, then all that other BS item/stat crap that came with it it died...
I've been scanning the forums lately and all the talk is about the G80 and Ati's new x2900. Sure the x2900 is new but the G80 is a few months old now so what exactly is expceted from them next? I assume it will be monicured the G90 but other than that I really havent heard or read to much about...
With that unfortunatly falls on 2 problems for me:
Dell's ATI driver is A year out of date (+ very buggy, lack of decent fps in games, overall unstable)
and
ATI's x1400 drivers dont even verify correctly, and do the aformentioned problems in the first post.

When I first got my laptop i updated all the drivers via Dell's "recommended" ones on their website. After I did that I noticed that when I would play a game, say css, I got really bad fps and the game would crash, bluescreen...
I laughed for a good while at it .... these types of bums are what crawls around my neck of the woods. Good for a little entertainment

well after downloading the mobile xp 7.3 drivers I am getting errors randomly when either leaving a game, or when my computer goes into standby - which all give me an error message of a video driver being bad ...... guess it doesnt work after all.
I have a dell 1505 laptop and i was looking to find the latest driver for my video card which is an ati mobility x1400 but there is no such driver found on ati's website? Does anyone know what/where i am suppose to get updated drivers for this card?

I am trying to build an htpc in the next few months. I have a limited budget so it will take me a few to buy all the parts needed to put it together. My question is that if I go ahead a buy my internal hdd right now for the htpc, Is there any way that I could hook it up to my dell e1505 laptop...
