Beware buying refurb video cards from Newegg. It's a real crapshoot. Very few ever work properly. Even if you return it for a refund, you're out shipping, and they might even try to charge you a restock fee. I sometimes wonder if they bother even looking at the cards for visible damage before...

Just out of curiosity, are any of the Radeon 9700 pro 3rd party (powercolor, sapphire, etc) OEM boards underclocked? Every site I've seen says that all the OEM boards are (for once) clocked 325Mhz. the same as retail..... but I'm talking with a retailer who says that the OEM powercolor 9700 pro...
