I received an updated ATI BIOS from Sapphire for the video card. Not sure what is was supposed to do, but it did not work.

Unfortunately it is not an add in card. This board comes with the LSI Megaraid, the Adaptec, and the Intel RAIDS built in. (You can only use either the Adaptec or the Intel; not both.) So any firmware will have to come through SuperMicro. I agree with you about SM's support. Email responses...

If you are currently using the X8DA3 board with both the LSI Megaraid and either the Adaptec or Intel RAID working at the same time, would you please let me know what video card you are using? I've been trying to get this to work for over six months and cannot turn on the Adaptec or Intel RAID...
