thats...
i've seen a lots of review of MX comparison and find out that most of them rate MSI 8818 for the best tvout quality. thats what i got for my setup. while the tvout quality is excelent, the 2d quality is somewhat poor .
i have the MSI MX agp and the poor 2d really strain my eyes.
would i be better off modding the MX for better 2d or buying a G200/400 PCI ??? can they work together in a system???
thanks
may b u would want to wait for the next gen MX coz it will add support for 128bit ddr ram support. currently it only sports 64-bit ddr which creative is using and it lags behind other using sdram.
its about Side Band Addressing and Fast Write.
when i checked wcpuid, it said SBA is enable and Fast write is disable. but when i checked sandra on the MSI GF2 MX 8818, it said fast write enable and SBA disable.
who is telling the truth here?
How good are these cards?? Please dont recommend me cards like hercules coz these are the only branded name that could be found in my country.
Features that i need:
- good/average tv-out quality
- good drivers support
- holes to secure the blorb and the heatsink is not glued to the core
thanks
