That isn't the problem I'm running into, what is happening is one card has slider options that let me go all the way up to 1400 mhz for the core clock, the other will not let me go past 1050 mhz. I've tried alternate programs and none seem to unlock it and all but CCC or Afterburner seem to be...
Well I've helped the temperature problems quite a bit by swapping the video cards around, so now in they both idle at 45-50C, but now in furmark the top card maxes out at 82 celsius and the bottom is at 75, so I would say overall that it is an improvement. Still don't have any solution for...
So I just got me a 7850 Crossfire setup, and everything went pretty well except for the fact one of the cards can't overclock past 1050 mhz. Currently I'm overclocked at 1050 on Core & 1450 on memory (because I couldn't bump the core)
One is the XFX Double D (it's got an ASIC of like 79) it...
So I've decided it was time to start the process of planning for my new File Storage Systems. Currently I've got 5 HD204UI with about the capacity at 70% full, and have been playing Data Roulette since I have no backup in place for it though the archival system is rarely active (in the 2 years I...
Man It's been awhile since I seen a distortion field like this. Always the problem with forums (Especially Audiophiles) is minor grievances get exploded out of proportion. I personally own a HP ZR24W, I upgraded because my old 1650x1080, got a dead pixel, wanted a 16:10 resolution (1920x1200)...
Unless you planned to rewire the entire house, I think I would make a go at using a powerline type system, while not as good as wire they are generally a tier above as far as connectivity and reliablity compared to wifi (or wireless just hates me at times)
Right, I at least planned on using free weights vs the smith machine part, it has the option for it still (barbell is removable and it can be used on the front with catches, although now that I think about it, didn't ask if that was for squats also.
Figure it's about time for a new update. I didn't really get alot of input before I made my decision (though that power rack does look neat), but I feel pretty safe in it overall. I went and bought a Marcy Diamond Elite Smith System (MD 9010G). In addition I also bought the 300 lb weights...
Quick update on my attempts to secure the equipment. I was going along with my original purchase plan, but that failed miserably. Apparently at least at the Dick's sporting goods I headed to they didn't have the power rack, though they were willing to ship it to me for the kind price of...
I figure I should preface this with a little about me and my goals. I'm currently 23 and 5' 8" and weigh around 210 (appearance wise look closer to 170-180). I'm actually not looking to lose weight, although I won't complain if that happens :P. I'm mostly looking to get fit and build some muscle...
I was hoping for that response that it was software wise, but so many people treated memtest as bullet proof, that it made me hesitant to be insistent on that.
Yeah mobius it still will crash on memtest 4.0a whether it's overclocked on or not generally around 60-70% completion. In addition on prime 95 I had it test the small FFT's for about an hour or so, to try to get it to trip up even a bit.
Concerning in WinDBG BSOD codes in reverse order...
Virge I was just throwing it out as a possibility since, software can be incompatible, and it might lead to an alternate line of thinking.
Amenx: Memtest is a memory test and it also will test cpu's own memory (as far as I recall). In any case in 3.5v it only runs 1 thread and it will pass a...
So I was having alot of issues with BF3, so I went to make sure everything was good (also occosionally a blue screen once roughly every 5 days). I ran memtest on cpu it would constantly fail at around 60-70% (blue screen or restart). It did this even when I tested single memory modules. So on...
