No I meant Service Pack 1, but it does do it with 2 also. I also connected it to the the Ide Channel like I was suppose to. What I was saying is the Dvd-Burner (The Dvd-Rom drive never has a problem) works fine until I install Service Pack 1 or any other Service Pack for thht matter.

Well technically it used to on this computer until I updated it to service pack 1. However I dont think service pack 1 is the problem since I tried the drive in a different computer with the same updates and it worked
