Tried deleting the ide channel along with the drivers for the DVD drives... they did reinstall themselves after the reboot :) .... It said it found the dvd drvives and even called them CD-ROM drives but after all the drivers reinstalled they are still being listed as Local HDD :( It'm going...

Bios shows both the Pioneer and the Lite-On drive properly and If i stick a bootable CD-Rom in either drive and set the Bios to boot off of CD-ROM before my SCSI, it will boot of either DVD Drive

So here's the setup...
There are 4 computers ... 800 Mhz older stuff. Win2K on all of them.
Connected trough a Linksys Router that also is connected to a cable modem.
I set up a directory c:\Shared1, c:\Shared2, ... for each of the 4 computers. It is primarily .doc and .xls files

I just started playing CS:S and it is dark as hell
I turned up the brightness and gamma in-game all the way up
I also turned up the brightness and gamma in the catalyst control center
and I have the brightness and contrst turned up on my monitor too
This works for CS 1.6 but not for CS:S...
