My Ram is generic DDR2 800MHz, rated for 1.8V. I have no problems with it. I was just wondering why the RAM would crap out above 230MHz FSB, even with the RAM speed set to 800MHz in BIOS. Now I know. :)

I have an Epox 8K7A. It does not have a 1/5 PCI divider. It only goes to 1/4 (i.e. 266 FSB). However, I did find a beta BIOS that has official support for Athlon XP/MP processors up to 2400+ (266 FSB only). I'm currently running a T-Bred XP 1700+ on it.

NMB has fans like that, but I don't know of anybody that distributes them. You can probably find a distributer in their site, though.

Yeah, a 72W peltier should be sufficient to get that Duron nice-n-cool, as long as it gets sufficient cooling. Peltiers get really freaking hot! You'll need something like an Alpha heatsink with a powerful fan cooling it... or a water cooling rig.

I found that a 50mm fan fits the V3 3000 heatsink almost perfectly. The mounting holes in the fan almost perfectly line up with the mounting hole in the heatsink. My V3 3000 has one of the bare aluminum heatsinks that is attached to the video card with two metal pins. The heatsink has 4 holes...

Just clip the two wires going to the 2-pin connector and splice in the wires from your new fan. Also, you might want to cut out the sheet metal fan grille and replace it with a wire grille (if it doesn't have a wire grille already). I've done that to both of the power supplies in my Black Box...

Lnguyen: Nice mods dude. Although you might want to look for a different web host. Those pop-up adds are annoying.

What kind of power supply do you have? Wattage rating? If I remember right, T-Birds are just as power-hungry as Athlons. An Athlon-approved power supply might be necessary.

I'd hate to ruin your plans, but I don't know of any computer fan mfgr that makes 100mm fans. The closest thing you'll find will be 92mm.
