When I used the Philips 8x discs, you can see it burnt something onto the disc. The color changes compared to a new disc. It seems the drive was unable to read it. Before I upgraded to Service Pack 2, I got an error stating the drive is unable to read the format or the disc is corrupt. Nero says...

I used Memorex DVD-R 4x Discs and they worked fine.

I have 4.3GB of MP3's and was wanting to put them on 1 DVD. I was using DVD Shrink 3.2 to copy movies.

I bought a Toshiba SD-R5272 8x Dual-DVD Burner. The burner came with Nero 6 OEM and is the recommended burning software. I upgraded to the latest version on Nero, 6.3.1.20. The DVD burner will play audio CD's, play DVD movies and burn CD-R's fine. I have tried to burn data DVD disc's and DVD...
