I'm worried about SATA not...
I bought the eVGA 680i motherboard.....havent even got it yet.....and wished I hadnt (I guess) after reading the eVGA forums.......This is my first build,now I am scared about not being able to get the rig up and running.....anybody have any positive stories or should I just send it back...

Everybody talks about "flashing the BIOS".....this is my first experience so can I do that (and what is that, btw) from a USB flash drive? I have no floppy in my configuration.

Great suggestions and I have changed PSU, sound card, optical drive, RAM and floppy.

Ok, I decided to bite the bullet after listening to my friends.....and build <yikes>
This rig is to be used for gaming. I want it to be Vista ready. Budget...ehh cheap as possible but still kicks @ss hehe! I re-did specs thanks to everybody's suggestions!!
I'm open to any suggestions...
