Thanks for that, had no idea they released the new processors. Was thinking then to just build a cheap pc from scratch. Should have mentioned that I live in Canada.
Are you sure that the integrated graphic will suffice for my needs. I was not sure but i just wanted to be sure.

I am looking to build a computer for my wedding photography business. My current MacBook pro has just died on me and I am looking for a replacement that will be able to last me atleast 5 + years. I am just trying to figure out if it is worth it to build a computer from scratch or just buy a new...
Hello everyone,
I just had a quick question regarding whether my current Corsair TX650 PSU will suffice when i upgrade from my current MSI Twin Fozr Gtx 570 to the new MSI GTX 770 OC Tiwn Fozr IV. I am fairly certain it will but i just need some reassurance.
My build:
CPU: i5 - 2500k...
Also just a quick question. Wanted someone to just verify that the 750W would be suitable if he did decide to SLI? He doesn't plan to overclock the GPU's and knowing him it will be a slight overclock on the CPU.
As for the 670 being overkill ... I agree but he has his heart/wallet set on it, and it was the one thing he told me to build around. He may in fact get more screens in the future before he SLI's, but atleast he won't have any problem playing any games with the single 670. Thanks again
I bought the vertex 3 when it first came out last year for my computer and it had a lot of problems with it back then. I managed to get a good one i guess as it hasn't failed me yet. ( Knock on wood). But i assumed they had fixed all those firmware issue's by now. But i think you guys are right...
1. PC will be used for some video editing but mostly gaming, and day to day tasks.
2. Budget is around 1500 before taxes.
3. Will be purchasing from Canada.
4. No Brand Preference.
5. Got a monitor keyboard and mouse.
7. Probably going to do some over-clocking on the cpu.

I don't think the SSD caching and the faster video converting with the intergrated GPU is really worth it for me. I did think about it long and hard but in the end i just didn't think it would have given me much more of a benefit.
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Gaming. FPS and RTS games mostly. Also the usual stuff and maybe a little video editing on the side.
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
$1900 after...
I was considering getting the 6950, but i have a couple questions about the OC to achieve 6970. Is it hard to do? Is there a significant risk in doing this that i should be aware of? How do i make sure i get a reference model (no idea what that is). How much does the windows & OS take up on a...
Forgot to mention that the budget i'm trying to work with is around 1250-1400 before taxes(cdn). The above listed components using NCIX will run me $1400 or close to it. If i dn't end up having the time to build the PC is NCIX a reputable company to buy pre built PC's from. Last question i...
Hey guys, i'm planning on either buying or building a gaming PC using the following components. Its been a while and i want to make sure I'm not making a mistake or getting riped off anywhere. Any insight will be much appreciated.
