Mounting holes for Heavy Coolers - NONE!

I just posted a topic on my heatsink and fan, however, my motherboard does NOT have mounting holes for that Thermalright SLK947U Heatsink. But, around the processor socket, there are diagrams and measurements around it. I was wondering if that meant that you could drill there and make the...

    quick question

Ehh, I've always heard that you need to have a little bit more of a load on a PS, in order to run a fan. I would hook up an old hard drive to it too just incase. (This was told to me by my friend. This might apply for older power supplies and not new ones.) Daniel Day

Anyone know about this motherboard? I got it in my rig, and was CONSIDERING to overclock my processor since so many people do it nowadays. I'm not a big advocate of O/C but I think I might give it a shot. Can anyone help me with this? My AOL Instant Messanger name is bigdan4712 and I would...

AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Operating Temp

Oh by the way. I do not overclock. I can't see why people overclock, when its not safe, and definatley not a good habit. If you overclock like 400mhz...you dont even notice the difference. (At least I don't.) So why take the risk? Thanks.
