Its the new version of AIM. I was having the same problem this morning, but I found out that there is a way around it. Go to the Sign On/Off preferences category in AIM and disable the "Make AIM my default instant messaging program" option. Close both AIM and Outlook Express and when you open up...

Thanks. I do use Windows messenger sometimes, but if it keeps logging me in, I may have to do that and uninstall it.
