    problem with burning cd

    I have an asus 7N266e motherboard, xp2000+ cpu, pioneer dvd, asus 24x10x40 ide burner and two IBM 60gig hdd. XP is loaded using NTFS formatting. I have Nero burn 5572 and easycd 502d loaded. Neither can identify the Asus cdrw. When click on nero burn, it causes XP to reboot. Any guess as to why...

    what mhz for an AMD XP 2000+

    I just bought an Asus 7N266 mother with a 2000+ xp processor. When I check the bios, it is showing 1289 mhz. Is that right? What mhz should a 2000+ xp be running?

    folder permission in XP

    Thanks Derango. Dreadogg - I did setup a password for my logon, but when I created a test word document and saved it in my document, I was still able to access and delete the files via explorer. Unless you're just adding to what Derango was suggesting, then I understand. Thanks.

    When I click the "open office document" icon on the office 97 shortcut bar and then clicked on an either an Excel or word file, nothing happens. I would do a control+alt+DEL buttons to check the "task manager" and it has a program item name "OSA" and next to it is an error [not responding] ...

    I've already did that. Spent an hour looking through their website, but wasn't too successful. As you probably know since you've visited it, it's difficult to locate a specific problem because their database on support is so huge. If you can remember which subject I should look at it would help.
