+1 for Vindictus. It's more action than it is RPG but the combat is very satisfying. You can theoretically solo everything in the game if you're patient enough but the grouping isn't completely terrible should you want to play with others.
Has LOTRO or D&D online been mentioned yet?
Bastion...
Yup, me too. In the other ME3 thread I brought up 3 points similar to your list:
1) You are locked in slow motion with no GUI/HUD available. This is exactly as it is in the dream sequences that haunt Shepard throughout the game. What point are the dream sequences if not to create a precedent...
Sure. You can also go and find where Bioware said that Mass Effect 3's ending would be a grand combination of all the choices you made throughout the trilogy.
... because the ending is clearly alluding to another game and people fail to read between the lines. Don't you think it's significant that there's only one ending where Shepard returns to life/consciousness? Did you address any of the points I brought up earlier? Please don't chastise me for...
The Stargazer sequence post credits makes it pretty clear Mass Effect 3 was not the final story about Shepard. And at the end of the "destroy the reapers" option it shows Shepard waking up / coming back to life. How would that make any kind of sense if Shepard was actually inside the Citadel? It...
I'm inclined to believe that Shepard wouldn't have been susceptible to indoctrination until after the Thessia mission which absolutely crushes his spirits. Once he returns to Earth we are told that Harbinger has come after him. Makes sense that Harbinger would be attempting to indoctrinate him...
I think a lot of people who are upset at the ending need to take a breath and a step back and look at it more objectively. The indoctrination theory may or may not be the intended meaning, but you can't deny some basic facts about the ending sequence:
1) You are locked in slow motion with no...
I'd rather have emulators on a Vita though because I still want to play PSP/Vita games. The Vita's not worth its total cost without homebrew support, in my wallet's opinion. And Sony is throwing away resources trying to lock it down when it should be developing more reasons to buy the device in...
On the topic of excess noise, don't spend too much time on Head-Fi or at least take everything with a grain of salt. A lot of people, "audiophiles" included, dump a ton of money on hardware, mods, etc., to no actual effect due to many, many variables associated with the long journey of Source ->...
I reference this tiny bit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Portable_homebrew#Sony.27s_position
Obviously Sony will never be in direct support of homebrew since it has (indirect?) ties with piracy. However, as has been evidenced by the last 10 years worth of DRM advancements and...
Still not jailbroken? I'm a bit surprised this far into its release, honestly. I was also under the impression that Sony was "okay" with the homebrew on the PSP to some extent. Is that not the case anymore?
Either way, I'm holding off on my purchase until some homebrew hits. I'm not against...
