noxxic, thats exactly what worked with every other host i've used in the past, but w/ 1and1, when i link the "http://s86977621.onlinehome.us/filename.txt", it keeps giving me the error 404: file not found msg. I contacted their superb customer service and i bet they'll give me a reply first...

this deal plus the free.tk domain name = one hot deal IMO. Question: I uploaded several files via sftp to my account at 1and1.com and yet I have no idea where they are actually located. I want to be able to link to the files for downloading. can someone help? thanks
