the 400w is a Comp USA. It has 16A on th 12V path, which according to my research should be good. What do you think? If the PS is really causing this, then why has it worked sometimes? It would seem that if there weren't enough power, it wouldn't work ever. Brian

I've tried the one that was in my case - a 350Watt ATX , and another 400watt ATX supply. Not sure of the MFG of either. Voltages looked OK in the bios the few times I was actually able to get in to them. Got another question - the cpu heat sink support has a metallic bracket on the bottom...
