C1E & EIST are good functions for those of us using higher vcore. I have my vcore set at 1.59v (1.536v after vdroop) to achieve a 3.6ghz OC (63c max load) and would rather it run at a lower clock speed and lower vcore when my PC is not doing anything cpu intensive.
Thanks SerpentRoyal.
Got my e6600 to 3.6GHz prime95 stable. I followed your instructions and enabled C1E and EIST so it would run on lower voltage when idle.
After some pretty good reviews, I bought the board. I got a E6600 overclocked to 3.4GHz Prime95 stable pretty easily. I'm going to take it further as it still has some headroom left. Vdroop could be better but for $70, I really can't complain. This is a simple, effective overclocking board...
Ti4600, it was a solid card and I was still able to play HL2 with decent framerates. Also had a Radeon 7500 that ran flawlessly but just couldn't play the current games.
My current 6800 has not been that great, it had to be rma'd, atleast they are sending me back a 6800gs.
