I tried but the multiplier does not change even when I run two copies of prime95. Both Intel TAT and CPU-Z show 1.600 GHz fo rmy E6600.

I understand OS can varies E6600's multiplier between 6 and 9 depending on the load. Is there a SW available to tell what the current multiplier is? For my DS3/E6600 setup, CPU-Z seems to display whatever I set in the BIOS and the multiplier does not change whether my PC is idle or under load. TIA
