I have P5B, Corsair 5400 (667 Mhz), 7600GS and all work fine. Original BIOS was 170. Maybe it is better to change the motherboard :-(

I flashed my P5B (vanilla) with USB flsh drive: there is an utility in the BIOS called EZFLAH, it can load new BIOS from floppy or from an USB device, as u want, u don't need bootable floppy There is a P5B DeLuxe not-Wifi, but it is not available in some countries
