Odd thing happened at a Chinese resteraunt...

I guess refusing the freedoms of speech, religion, keeping and bearing arms, reproduction, and the long list of other rights the Chinese government infringes upon isn't persecution, then?

Additionally, it's not like I was asking if she was married or had kids or anything else. And this still does not solve the riddle of my friend at the university. Instead of making pointless posts, try posting something useful, please?

Odd thing happened at a Chinese resteraunt...

I love Asian food, and I go to an asian resteraunt of some kind on almost a daily basis. Tonight, I got up the nerve to ask the waitress about herself. She is 23, came from southeast China just a few weeks ago, and is working in a chinese resteraunt in the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin. She...

    Access Reports

I cannot do the calculation in the query, and I need the record (which is actually a compilation of records) excluded from the report based on a calculation. Isn't there a function in access reports to just skip to the next record, or refrain from displaying anything in the current iteration?

    Access Reports

I have a field in an access report that does a calculation. Based on the calculation, I'd like the program to decide whether or not to exclude the record from listing the report. The calculation cannot be done in a query. How would I exclude certain records from appearing on an access report...

    Carpet bomb Alabama please.

Fool. Where in the Constitution does it say states cannot legislate (and others have brought this up - it's not even a law. But assuming it were...) religious doctrine? Nowhere. You still didn't answer me. The First Amendment specifically states the Congress shall make no law concerning it...

Oh, man! That's a blockbuster argument, complete with sources and logic! No opinion at all, just fact!

    Carpet bomb Alabama please.

Let me quote from the Federal Constitution, concerning the Federal government, and in this case, the Federal congress: Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion That's all it says folks. If you're lookin for 'seperation of church and state', you won't...

Could also be overheating - are you clocked out of spec? All your fans working? Hot day? Did it work before, or is it a new system?

    Sporadic connect no surf issue

Windows XP with an original Asus A7N and onboard NIC. I can get an IP off the DHCP server just fine, and I can even connect to unreal servers and other games and keep a steady connection. However, surfing with IE6 is finicky at best - some websites come up, others don't. Refresh occasionally...

super hot ram.. what can i do?

If you have multiple ram slots and they're not full, try and seperate the sticks as much as you can to get more air flow. It'd be good to have a fan on the side panel directly over the ram too. Otherwise, the previous advice is all you can do - watercooling or slow it down.
