I have the V7700 and A7V MB. They work great together. watch out for Soundblaster cards though. You may get some conflicts there (though you can fix them with a bit of tweaking)

I was getting IRQ conflicts with SB16 dos emulation and it was slowing down my boot-up quite a bit. I just went to add/remove programs and uninstalled SB dos drivers and the problems went away.
