All,
You may not have noticed or I am the only one having this problem, but when I change the System Performance to Normal from Optimal, it always changes back to Optimal. I'll toggle it, got to the next menu, go back and once again it's set to Optimal! If I save it at Normal and go back it...

Hi all. I have an A7V and a Creative Annihilator 2. 3D apps like screensavers, Counter Strike and Half Life are constantly locking up one me. I'll get maybe 30 minutes of good gameplay if I'm lucky then locks up. I have tried Detonator...
All,
I have a T-Brid 800 and an Asus A7V. For some reason when I run different CPU clock readers my processor is runing @ 808mhz. My computer posts @ 800. Ahy is this? I have the Memory bus set @ 133mhz and the System Bus set at 100. Thanks in advance!
A GlobalWin FOP38 (the loud one) and a T-Bird 800. I finally got it on. I bent and wore the clips a bit. When I tried to wipe off some of the excess Artic Silver that flowed over I got it all over some of the little chips on the processor. Hope I didn't kill it.
Is crushing your processor when clamping down a Heatsink normal? I feel that I am applying way too much pressure trying to clamp my heatsink to my processor. The thermal compound on the chip flowed over onto the side. Is this normal? Should it be this hard? I am only able to get one side of the...

Hello all,
I'm about to mount my Heatsink on my T-Bird 800 using Artic Silver thermal compound. The Heatsink came with a little thermal pad. Should I remove that before adding the Artic Silver? What worries me is that the only thing separating the Heatsink from the CPU is the Artic Silver...
All,
Am I supposed to apply the accelerator (the clear brown stuff in the bottle) or the adhesive (the pasty stuff in the plastic sack) to the bridges when over unlocking the L1 bridges on a T-Bird? Thanks in advance!
Anyone have links to pictures of the good ol' pencil, conductive pen or defogger Athlon unlocking techniques? I've seen a couple of pencil ones but am more interested in conductive paint pictures. Haven't see any of those yet. BYW, I am going to try overclocking a T-Bird 800 w/ an Global Win...
