ok just tried to up the fsb to 220 and got a black screen.. took it down to 215 and xp started but rebooted itself after a minute. so im now at 210fsb should i relax my timmings some? if so to what ? im at 2-2-2-6 my cpu voltage is at 1.75

sounds like you dont have suffient cooling. how many fans u have? and if when you open your case your temps go way down then you must not have enough airflow. or you mabye you may be right by your mb monitor not giving you accurate readings.
my board (look at sig) has been solid for two months now...it went from 166 to 200 mhz before i even installed windows. You can pick it up for under $70.
