ok just tried to up the fsb to 220 and got a black screen.. took it down to 215 and xp started but rebooted itself after a minute. so im now at 210fsb should i relax my timmings some? if so to what ? im at 2-2-2-6 my cpu voltage is at 1.75 (cpuz says its at 1.72) and memory is at 2.8

yes most likely.. mine did anywase and mine never failed prime after 14 hours. try raising the voltage a noch or 2.

sounds like you dont have suffient cooling. how many fans u have? and if when you open your case your temps go way down then you must not have enough airflow. or you mabye you may be right by your mb monitor not giving you accurate readings.
