I've looked at fry', svc, newegg but dont see one with usb and firewire with CF reader. if it has firewire it doesn't have reader.

same problem here. The rebate form clearly states that the date I bought was within range, but rebates@parago.com says it was not. Does anyone have a phone number for them so you can talk directly with a person?

I just got the 1800 duron ECS k7vta3 v8 combo from frys for $59 bucks. KT333 chipset. Runs great for a cheap mobo ~$29.

fans spin up, videocard fan spins up, cd and hdd power up. no beeps or video though. Gonna take it back and try a new one.

no luck with pci card either.

read elsewhere of people having the same problem but a pci video card will allow a boot. people just cant get agp cards to work. i'll have to try my pci video later today and i'll update. anyone know how to get around this problem???

Tried the above. Also swapped out the battery and tried a GF3 ti200. Still no luck. Sounds dead to me. Any other suggestions before I take it back. thanks!

hooked up rpm sensing and still no luck. AGP Card is fully seated. PS is Antec 300W. Any other suggestions out there?

I'll try the rpm sensing. Not setup at this time for that. The heatsink is oriented correctly. I'll update with the results. Thanks

Got the fry's 1800 duron / ECS combo. Installed MB/Proc/GF4Mx440/PC3200 Mushkin and can't get it to post. No beeps. Switched out Processor to duron 600, video card to GF4 ti4200, and memory to pc3200 Corsair one at a time and still no post. Reset bios, switched jumpers back down to 100Mhz...
