The problem has been solved, well sort of. Out of frustration I bought a brand new GTX 285 (BFG) from a local retailer. I installed the card and World of Warcraft has been running solid for 4 days now. Not a single crash. So EVGA did indeed send me 3 defective cards AND bullied me...

I got an email from nvidia today and they want me to try a few things including re-installing an older driver. If that doesn't work, i'm going to test the card in a brand new system I'm building for a buddy. I'll be re-installing wow from scratch as well.

Maybe....but I'm starting to think it's a problem with these factory overclocked cards. The only thing that has helped my black out problem was to under clock the card. The problem still occured but less frequently. My advise would be to get the 2g version but make sure you have a full return...
CPU and GPU temps checked to be within normal limits. The GPU temp never goes over 60c while playing wow. Besides I have the Storm Sniper Case with 4 fans all spinning at high settings and I've increased the GPU fan to 100%
My mobo has the latest BIOS from Asus. I entered the memory timings manually. Everything else is set by default in the BIOS.
I have not tried an ATI card.
My main computer was a fresh install, but it's been awhile since I re-installed the game. The game was running awsomely for 3 years on my old sli'd 8800's and a GTX+ 9800 not a single problem till I installed the GTX 285. From the hundreds of threads i've read thru regarding this issue...
