for games like dying light or unity, i am reading they recommend cards like r9 290 or on there sites. So wouldnt i lose alot of frames on r9 270 and may get better performance with r9 280x?

cant afford to upgrade monitor. To be honest i think im satisfied with gaming at 1680x1050. not too crazy about giant screen almost at my face. so at my current screen r9 270 is more than enought?

Can some one tell me how do i overclock my RAM to see if that make my System stable at 3.7 Ghz. Currently my RAM sticks are running at 5-5-5-18 1.8v 2 sticks and other 2's are 5-5-5-15 v 2.1 Same brands ( i think Mobo auto set to lowest one or somethimg?)

currently at 3.6 ghz with V1.35 temp maxing out at 56 under IBT load(20 rounds) VERY HIGH SETTINGS

On this subject i have read phenom II's specially Thubans are really good OC'ers. And specially with Multiplier. I am gonna work with FSB as i had no success with setting NB speed and voltage and see what happens

I also have 4 ram sticks out of which 2 are of different latency and 2 are different ( 800 and 1066) respectively. Could that be affecting my OC? They are same brand and i have tested them via memtest 86 at 3.4 ghz speed and rams had no error

Thank you everyone for your response. So i was able to get my computer to 3.6 ghz stable via prime95 7 hrs running and IBT 20tests running @ very high. i had to bump my voltage to 1.35 V Im planning to push it further to next level 3.7 ghz. what should be my next step? Play around with FSB ?

but funny part is when the system crashed my CPU temperature was only 30C....
