Many thanks, the ram clearance is a key issue for me as at some point I will use all 4 dimm slots. Very limited DDR5 options atm so using Vengeance 5600 which are a bit tall. Did you have any problems accessing the Dimms?

Many thanks for the reply, having turned off the fans it is definitely the pump, the buzzing/hum is driving me mad so will definitely RMA the unit. Went into bios and was able to lower the cpu fan rom but this was only the fans so helped a bit but still unworkably annoying so will revert to air...

Hi all, Just got my new pc with the H150i Elite LCD installed, always previous had air cooled but thought I'd try AIO, thinking it would be quieter. Not sure if this is normal, but there is a constant hum/low buzzing noise when set to quiet and balanced and sounds like a jet when under load...

I am really surprised at how long it's kept going myself, given I can play (prior to messing around) all games on high or ultra, I didn't think I needed to take the plunge, but over the years can see it is getting a tad slower

Yes that's is what I thought, all like for like benchmarks state the 3770k should reasonably outperform the 2500k, I think it probably was a basic setting, so will find a guide for this m/b. As mentioned earlier upgrade has to wait for at least 12 months. But sent off my 3770k to be delidded, so...

Many thanks, the refresh (in place upgrade of Windows 10) seemed to work and resolve the issue. Will definitlely uninstall the CPU drivers before I install a new CPU next time
