I was thinking of the Athlon 64 3000 with the MSI K8N NEO Platinum (~$300). I have 2 512 MB DDR PC2100 and a 256 DDR 2700 currently. Will these modules work with the above processor/motherboard combo? If they will work, will performance be greatly affected? Or do I need to purchase DDR PC...
