It's coded on the chip as to what week it was made. People have found that certain weeks seem to overclock better than others. For Athons, that seems to be weeks 7,8,9 of this year so far. Myself, I have a week 7 Athlon 1Gig that's doing 1.4Gigs now, and I haven't even tested the limit yet.
