Got it working. You just need to get sol.exe and cards.dll from an XP machine from the system32 folder and keep them in the same folder on the windows 7 machine. I tried this before I posted, it wasn't working when I put those files in windows 7's system32 folder.

The company does make a proprietary windows app so you don't have to use IE in windows, but there is no way i can figure to get the video from it...

to get an x-fi working under 64bit beta 2:
run the command prompt (cmd.exe) "as administrator"... you can do this by right clicking on the executable ... then use BCDedit to disable the x64 required driver integrity check by typing: bcdedit /set nointegritychecks on

i don't know, i am running 64bit and there is no x-fi support. so i may switch to 32bit later. i have heard people say that 32bit is faster at this point but i haven't seen any numbers anywhere to confirm this
