also, the ati all in wonder is all that i need for mame emulation. there is no 3d involved and most of the power is required in the cpu. as a matter of fact, 8mb is a lot for what i need to do. most people use 4mb. check out the mame web site if you are interested. not important though...

the bios auto select the ram config for me, so i believe that is not the case. and sorry, what exactly is the mobo? :D
