Hello, I am having a little worry with my temperatures. Here is a screenshot to show you what I'm looking at: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/6513/tempsar.jpg If you notice, I have circled two different temps. However, I believe that these 2 temp readings are referring to the same item because...

Why is my temp so high on control center?

Well do you think that control center could be off on the temp readings? I've downloaded like 4 different temp programs and they all read me being constantly below 60c. Only controlcenter, which came with the pc, reads me at extremely high temps.

    safe cpu temps WHILE gaming

I just don't see how 2 can read around 50c and then one reads my temps at 100c+, what a drastic difference. I don't know which one to actually go by. I will be buying a better heatsync as I mentioned but I'm also scared to spend more than 30 min. on a game right now if controlcenter is reading...

    safe cpu temps WHILE gaming

Any idea why my cpu temps are so high in controlcenter but are reading alright in coretemp and hwm? I've seen my cpu temp go up to 120c in controlcenter but it stays consistently between 50-60c in the others. I hope control center is wrong. Here's a screenshot...

I have a screenshot of my cpu temps in control center, coretemp, and HWMonitor. My cpu temps in HWMonitor and coretemp stay pretty consistent around 50-55 while playing games. In controlcenter my temps will jump as high as 120. Please tell me controlcenter is wrong. I am using the stock heatsink...

    safe cpu temps WHILE gaming

Hello, I am wondering what a safe temp is WHILE gaming. I have an i5-2500k cpu and I've been checking my temps every 10 minutes or so while gaming and it just keeps rising. It sits pretty cool around ~40c when idle. I just usually alt tab for a while once it hits 80c to let it cool back down. I...

    tv display quality through hdmi

That's the plan, but I'm looking for some insight on VGA vs HDMI asap. If someone comes on here and tells me "Monitors over tv displays no matter what" I could go ahead and start saving for a monitor now.

    tv display quality through hdmi

I'm just wondering if HDMI over VGA would make some sort of difference because even on the max resolution supported, the quality was god aweful on VGA(way worse than it would have been on the same reso through my monitor). I'm probably missing some key bit of information here. I guess my...

    tv display quality through hdmi

I will soon be buying a video card with HDMI outputs and My good 22' monitor just broke :(. All I have left now is a really old 15' lcd and my 40 inch LG 720p tv. I'm not too excited about having to see my new card on such a small and older monitor so I was wondering if I would get decent...

    First Gaming Build, Need help/feedback!!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I have already got my RMA# and will be returning the raidmax PSU. I think that PSU you linked above will be a good replacement(if 500w is truly enough) as it is marked at the same price as my other PSU and will be an easy trade off without having to throw in...
