I saw the thread for this psu for $15 shipped. How does the noise compare to other psu's? I'm debating over spending the extra money on the fortron P300XFPN w/ 120mm fan. Which sparkle psu should I get or should I just get the lite-on from directron?

Comments about the noise have been inconclusive... How does it compare with the 420w turbolink/channel well psu's... I'm trying to replace it without spending too much money. Anyone have experience with both?

I'm not sure where to put the thermal probe and it's pretty loud right now running at full speed. I have a 1800+ right now and used arctic silver 3... Should it be under the heatsink on top of the cpu like the directions say or placed somewhere else? Thanks.
