how to restore the bios? wht shud i do to restore if im not able to post? all im getting is a blank screen.

in k8we there is a bios reset switch is tht wht u talkin abt?(i did tht already) or do i have to do somethin else? there is no jumper in the manual which points out on how to reset cmos.

i updated my bios to 2895100Q using phlash16 and everything went smooth.it completed without an error and it asked me to restart. after that nothing happened.no post no beeps no display. is somethin wrong big time?

take the mobo out of the case and run it outside. there can be a short circuit with the case.... so take it outside place it in the mobo box connect only the ram cpu and display and try powering it on while clearing the cmos.

nobody holding anyone to buy apple or pc. so why waste convincing people tht x is better than y.if i think x is better il buy it and use it and i dont care why the person sitting next to me using y cause he believes im a fool using x...lol....

The PSU is just fine....i tried what lockman said and its running.i connected the 24 pin and the 8 pin connector alone.am i missing anything?is there anyythin i shud do?this is the first time im building a dual processor system. any help would be gud.

Im using an Antec truepower 550 eps.When i switch it on there is no response. I even tried pressing the power switch in the mobo but in vain. Wht could be the problem? im scared to hell now...... one little thing when i connected a wireless transmitter for the keyboard and mouse its power light...

i guess il have to replace my wardrobe with rubber clothes...... :)

when i touch my PC i get a mild shock.... eventhough its not severe i wonder why?is it because the neutral is open? How can i find out what is wrong????

i finally ended up buying a custom made case very spacious and with four fans and never botherred how it looks.... and for PSU i didnt get turbo cool 510 AG....so i finally ordered Antec True550 EPS 12V and expecting it to arrive tomorrow. really excited how the rig is gonna do.... Thanks...

thats a cool tower and il inform what the pcpnc says..... mean while is split rail a must for this system? ive got a psu made by a reputed manufacturer who offers 600w with 12v @ around 36Amps....is that good enough?and whats eps?

Ive been one of the lucky ones to get a hand on the board. im from india and got it from the tyan distributor here who just got one of them as a distributor sample. yea i know its very mean to use one 512 per cpu but as the system already costs me more than 3500$ i have to wait for another...
