That is all great information... but the people here are waiting for the A8N-E PREMIUM (not the vanilla version).
Btw, I went with the MSI Neo4 Platinum a few weeks ago (on sale today at newegg.com). I am very pleased with the board. Just installed XP x64 RC2 yesterday (it came out the day...
Yes... that's why I had a hunch they might put it there. Anyhow, does anyone have a list of what is new & fixed in RC2 compared to RC1? I've been running RC1 and it's been great thus far.
Great.. just moments after my initial post it's now on the MSDN site! In a weird spot though.. good think I kinda had a hunch. It's not under Platforms > Windows XP > Windows XP Professional > 64-Bit x64 Edition Systems like RC1 is (yet).
It's under Platforms > Windows Server 2003 > Windows...
Actually I'm glad you mentioned that... it was going to be the whole point of my post, but I was distracted at work. ;-) What makes a drive qualify as SATAII? NCQ?
I picked up the Seagate 120GB SATAII drive from newegg.com.http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=22-148-039&depa=1
I'll pick up another one once Windows XP x64 edition (final) is release. I'll have no problem running x64 RC1 on one drive untill then (I reformat when the final is released anyways)
A few hours after NewEgg.com posted the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, they dropped the price $10... it's now $159.00

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum released today on NewEgg.com $169.00.

It will very difficult to wait for the Asus A8N-E Premium with this board out.
Good call... well it is a decent board... never used a Chaintech mb before though. Anyhow, it's not exactaly what i'm looking for so I guess i'm going to pass (doesn't even have onboard LAN and the audio isn't the greatest).
