If you check Home theater forums.. generally recommended is RG6 cable.. Co-ax like what your TV uses.. but not cheap stuff.. need good well shielded stuff.. but this might be to much work/bother depending on how long you need it but apparently the results are supurb..

I plan on a raid 5 setup.. and I'd lose less space % on the more drives i have then. I have lian-li pc70 case.. so i have room for some drives. Looking at 3ware cards seems on ebay can get 8 port card for ~ 300 bucks or so.. so thats not to bad.. planning on useing it as sort of a home theater...

Just wondering how many HD's the typical PS can handle, I'm looking at setting up a raid 5 system with probably 8 drives, current power supply is 460 watts, wondering if that is enough? Or is it somehow possibal to add a second PS just for the HD's? Thanks
