everything the latest, the cpu runs at 40 - 45c i think thats too hot my self is that too hot?

ok heres the deal: i got a asus a7pro mobo and thunderbird 900 a week or two ago, and heres whats confusing me. i can play any game on my system perfectly fine EXCEPT any game that uses half life and half life it self, i'll be able to play for about five mins before i'm instantly rebooted. and...

i read that thunderbirds need a continuous air flow over the heatsink/fan try that too, mine setups now running stably, ordered an orb a few days ago. that'll be my finishing touch.

are you running in jumper or jumperfree mode? if your running in jumperfree mode the default voltage setting is 1.35v that may bve your problem, also a better heatsink fan combo may help.

where do i find nvidias quick tweak?

half life is ok. cs dod and nolf are a bit too dark

i got a geforce 2 mx a few days ago, i've set it up and found out that i can't adjust gamma for opengl or direct3d. i have the latest detonator drivers and those don't have it either. any ideas, or tweak programs? BTW i have geforce tweak but theres no way to adjust gamma there either.

i have i have a dma hard drive and i found that winamp does the scratching when my hard drive is set in pio mode.
